Have you been job-hopping or frequently displeased by a career that may not fit or suit your desire? Or are you in a job that is brought about by circumstances and stuck so deep that your creative interests are not brought to the fullest?

In this final part to “Are you in the right career?”, I look at the Water signs, Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces and talk about the ideal careers for each of these signs.  If you belong to any of the above signs, or know anyone who is, I hope you enjoy the journey in discovering the best careers for your relevant water sign.

Cancer (June 22 – July 23)

The first thing that comes to mind about a Cancer person is your sense of sensitivity and homely instincts.

You excel in dealing with the masses and pride yourself in working hard to provide the best quality services to others.  As you tend to bring a genuine feeling of home and warmth in your dealings (as opposed to doing things the commercialised way), others feel comfortable around you and enjoy being in your presence.

Since Cancer rules the water and the sea, you would do really well working in the food and beverage business.  You could become a chef, manage a restaurant, cater, or even open your own food business and you will find success and joy in any of the above vocation.

As you work well with your family, you will also find much happiness and content in building a food business with your family or alternatively, setting up a business that can be handed down to your future generation.

Other than the food business, going into the shipping line of work and the business of hotels is also definitely the type of work that you can and will manage rather well.

Architecture, gardening and landscaping are choices that could be rather close to your heart and bring you a lifetime of happiness although it may be more of a hobby.

Scorpio (October 24 – November 22)

Scorpio is an intriguing sign.  You tend to satisfy your curiosity by observing and learning from other people’s experiences.

You need jobs that involve changes and can fit well as a secretary, counsellor, reformer, insurance agents, money-lenders, stock broker and as a middle man and trader for go-between deals.

Also being a water sign, you would also do well dealing with anything to do with the food and beverage business and relating to chemicals and medicine.

Generally, you are entrepreneurial and tend to have more than one investment going at a time.  Planet Mars that governs this sign gives you your innovation, enterprise and high spiritedness.  Eventually, you may run a dynamic business and even mature into a great empire in the business world.

Pisces (February 19 – March 20)

You are known for your sympathy, consideration and dedication to the weak, disabled and those in need of counsel.  So work that involves counselling, teaching and working with the handicap, medical emergencies and welfare department will suit you well.

You have a habit of wanting to put things right, wanting to make a difference and be involved with things that are meaningful to life.   You will do well in any field relating to dealing with antiques, restoration work, traffic –control, veterinarian, elevator maintenance and aquarium business.  You will probably find your niche within the above-mentioned vocations as any one of these fields would make a fantastic career choice for you.
