Choose your favourite gemstone according to your birth sign and discover how it enhances your life and your luck!

Gemstones radiate a power of their own as they emit rays from their ruling planets.  Buy your favourite birthstone or even a piece of costume jewellery and see the wonders it can do for you and your personality.

In this Part 1 of “Choose your Favourite Gemstones and Shine Like a Ruby”, I discuss the gemstones for the Earth signs, Capricorn, Taurus, and Virgo.  I will also be revealing the gemstones for other signs in the coming weeks.  Stay tuned to find out more….

CAPRICORN (December 22 – January 19)

Your birthstone is jade, which complements the luminous quality of the flawless Capricorn complexion.  Try and acquire a necklace of antique jade or a simple jade band for your ultra-feminine hands.  Emeralds and green malachite, a semi-precious stone, also have an affinity for you.  Try and set them in an oval or round pendant.  When dressing for dinner or an outing, wear your gems against a stark white or black gown.  You will be the “belle of the ball.”

TAURUS (April 20 – May 20)

Your favourite stones are sapphires, lapis lazuli and tanzanite (purple-blue gemstone), especially those which are blue in colour.   You love jewellery in rich traditional settings like filigreed pendants and ornate earrings.  Wear these favourite stones in your outings and discover the change it has on your life.  You could do this is one or more of the following ways: (1) Try on a sapphire or dark tanzanite sparkler ring and let it bring a shine to your day and night ,  (2)  wear your hair with a in a “side bun” with blue tanzanite earrings and a long elegant matching blue dress for a lovely dinner date.  (3) Wear some bright blue beads on your swim wear or even a toe-ring and have a bit of fun at the beach.  Enjoy!

VIRGO (August 23 – September 22)

Sapphire and amethyst are the birthstones of the Virgo.  Of all the zodiac signs, you are the most elegant in wearing old-fashioned jewellery pieces like brooches, lockets and bracelets yet still able to maintain the modern look.  You could wear a ring set with your birthstone and some small earrings or studs to complement the look.  When invited to a party, try adorning a simple pale pearl-gray blouse with a long-light pink chiffon skirt.  To add the crowning touch, wear an ornate necklace set with amethyst or bright blue enamel.   You will no doubt radiate elegance and reflect your inherent femininity.
